Afterpay is now available at Amazon.com.au

To shop, you can link your Afterpay account to your Amazon.com.au account; and this will give you the ability to select Afterpay as a payment method without signing.

How does Amazon work with Afterpay?

You can link your Afterpay account as a payment method to Amazon.com.au via the email or phone number associated with your Afterpay account.

When you place an order with Afterpay on Amazon.com.au, your order may not show in the Afterpay app until the item is ready for shipment.

What happens if I have multiple items shipping differently with Amazon?

For orders with multiple items shipping on different dates, separate Afterpay payment plans will be created.

What does this mean for my Afterpay payment plan when I have ordered with Amazon?

Your order will not be visible in the Afterpay app until the specific item is ready for shipment. This may result in multiple Afterpay Order numbers for one Amazon order each with its own payment plan.

How do I manage my repayments for Amazon on Afterpay?

Your preferred card will be set as the default payment method. you can change this at any time through the ‘Orders’ tab , in the Afterpay app. Click here for instructions.

Note: We are not able to accept Apple Pay as a payment method. If you have another valid card on file for payments and your default payment method is selected as Apple Pay, we will use the other valid card as your payment method. 

If your preferred payment card has expired, and you have multiple other cards on file, we will use the card with the furthest expiry date.

If you don’t have a valid card on file, the order will not be processed.

Is there a minimum transaction amount or a maximum allowed order value value for Amazon?

The minimum transaction amount for  Afterpay purchases on Amazon.com.au is $1. The maximum order total that can be placed using Afterpay depends on your available to spend limit, as determined by Afterpay based on your individual financial profile and can be viewed on your Afterpay app.

What products and services can I purchase on Amazon.com.au with Afterpay?Afterpay can be used for your purchases of all physical goods (both retail and marketplace) on Amazon.com.au. Payment for digital products, digital content and subscriptions on Amazon.com.au are currently not eligible for Afterpay. Afterpay cannot be used to purchase alcohol or for items with international delivery.

Which items cannot be purchased on Amazon.com.au using Afterpay?

Items that currently may not be purchased on Amazon.com.au using Afterpay include:

• Digital products (Kindle, Music, Video, Audible, Amazon Appstore apps, etc.)

• Items for International Delivery

• Digital Software & Video Games (DSV)

• Alcohol

• Amazon Prime Subscription

• Purchase amounts less than $1

How do I return an order or items purchased on Amazon with Afterpay?

Why can't I see Afterpay as an option on Amazon?

Afterpay is currently being progressively rolled out as a payment option on Amazon.com.au. It may not be available to all customers just yet, as the rollout is happening in phases over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth and optimal expansion. Watch this space!
